Treatment methods

Botulinum toxin

An injection of botulinum can significantly reduce facial wrinkles. We are cautious in our application here in order to achieve the most natural result possible.

Hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of the skin that provides moisture and elasticity. In aesthetic medicine it is used as a filler to restore volume and elasticity to the skin. This smoothes wrinkles and deeper facial lines and restores volume to sunken and sagging areas. The treatment involves injections into the affected area and can also be used to shape the lips and cheeks.

Infusion therapy

Through our carefully selected and individually formulated infusions, we can support you with symptoms such as declining performance, frequent infections, premature skin aging and to prevent physical aging.

Which wrinkles is Botox particularly suitable for?

The classic area of application for Botox (Botulinum) is wrinkles in the upper third of the face, i.e. around the eyes and on the forehead.

We will discuss together which regions bother you and how strongly we should treat them.

The injections are carried out after disinfection using precisely calibrated syringes and very thin needles.

You will be able to socialize immediately afterwards, but you should avoid heavy physical exertion for the first 12 hours and avoid activities that lead to increased blood circulation (e.g. sauna, solarium, sun and sports) for around 5 days.

When does the effect occur? How long does the effect last?

The treatment effect usually occurs after 48-72 hours, the maximum effect is achieved after 1-2 weeks.

The blockage at the transmission point between nerve and muscle and thus the desired effect usually lasts 4-6 months.

If desired, the treatment can then be repeated.

What are contraindications to Botox treatment?

For safety reasons, use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended.

If you have known underlying diseases associated with muscle weakness (e.g. myasthenia gravis) or blood clotting disorders, you should also not treat with botulinum. Likewise, there should be no infections in the area of the injection site.
